I've always thought feathers could only be obtained by buying them from the market place for 1 mill. Are they droppable now?

Nope, some players buy them early in preparation of crafting somethig but change their mind and it just gathers dust in their inventory until they actually use it. While some players have been trading them for mats to people who can't afford the flat gold amount or at a lower price if they meed the money back but don't want to craft
