Archer Newbie, Need Help!

So, I have just reached Longbowman and unlocked the Khergit Bow. I was expecting to unlock the Long Bow instead. Now here is my question: is it worth the 6,000? For a price jump to 6,000, you would expect it to be better, but the stat increase is really low. I want an accurate bow, the one everyone else uses (I'm really tired of feeling useless)!

It's actually pretty good IMHO. This is the first bow that you can one hit the easier bots with. I'm sorry if I didn't answer your main question.

Well for a good bow you will need to be Sniper.
If you reach Sniper, a holw world will go open for bows like Fiendisch, Kings, SS and much more...
Longbow is for Heavy Longbowman, but slow (thats what i say)

Well, best way to get best arrows is not buying from Market.
Always look on forum what blacksmith can make.
Almost at every arrow can the blacksmith make Sharp ....... Arrow.

No, you get better arrows for every tier.

IMO stay with a Short bow and usually theres other players who spawn fiendish or ss bows and ask politely if you can get there bow on spawn wave :warning this does not work every time

I'd really go for the Khergit Bow, there are even people using it at tier 3. It's a good, fast bow, and it should serve you well, as the road to tier 3 is a long one.
