Ok guys, here is where I will post the battle plans for tonight. It seems no one else has put their hand up to be captain so the joyous task has fallen to me
Ok, first a few rules;
Below is a general map and battle strategy for how tonight's battle will play out (hopefully)

Before the battle starts
With some clever work Birdtalon has figured out a way to give us time at the beginning of the game to setup defences before the enemy attacks us. Please follow the instructions below as to where defences are to be placed. If you have any spare equipment (weapons, barricades, shields, medic boxes) you are asked to put them down in Defence Point C for everyone else to use.
Defence point A - waves 1-7
The players will be divided into 3 teams for the first 7 waves of the battle. It is very important that you remember your teams!
Teams 1 and 2 will consist of shielders, archers, sharpshooters and skirmishers. Team 1 will defend the left bridge and team 2 the right. The shielders will hold the siege towers with ranged troops providing support from the turrets. The ranged troops will have to be ready to provide ranged fire from the bridges into the central pit to assist team 3 if commanded. If there are no more nords attacking your position feel free to provide ranged support for team 3.
Team 3 will mainly consist of 2h commandos and skirmishers. They will hold the lower central gate for waves 1-6 and upon wave 7 will split to join teams 1 and 2.
If at wave 4 the followers spawn at the central gate ranged troops will be expected to fire from the bridge to provide support but also be ready for wave 5.
Towards the end of wave 7 all soldiers will now be in 2 teams and will retreat to defence point B.
Defence point B - waves 8+
The pink rectangles indicate where defences will be built up on the map. Each team's shielders will close the gap alongside the defences and normal shield wall operations will commence. Ranged troops will take position slightly further behind the wall on the slope to have an elevated position to provide fire. Ranged troops will focus fire on nord ranged troops first. Remember you are no use to the Swadian Army if you are dead!
Shielders will take great care not to attack while in the shield wall unless necessary. The entire battle plan rests upon your surviving.
Defence point C - the Alamo
Defence point C is our bastion of last defence. Ideally the teams will not have to retreat to point C until after wave 16. The pink rectangle again denotes barricades and a shield wall will close the gap. Normal shield wall operations will ensue with ranged troops using cover to take out ranged troops before focusing on melee. At this point other troops may be called upon to take up shields to reinforce the shield wall. It is important that the wall is held. 32 players worth of bots on wave 16 plus is going to be an army compared to what you are used to.
If the Prince appears then ranged troops will switch fire to the Prince. It is important to stagger the Prince to allow the melee troops the chance to bring him down. The formation will not break in a giddy attempt to claim the kill. Every player attending has the exact same chance to receive any dropable loot by the Prince.

After wave 8 the teams will be:
Other details will appear throughout today so please make sure you read this thread before attending tonight.
Ok, first a few rules;
- You must listen to instructions on teamspeak. Your failure to do so could result in the team's failure. We are fighting 32 players worth of bots so this might not be a walk in the park
- No ramboing
- By all means speak your mind but please do not speak where unnecessary. It will be essential for me to be able to hear players reporting where lines are being broken, positions are being swamped or if support is needed
- Please be corteous to all players. If something goes wrong, it goes wrong. There will be no blame game.
- Have fun!
