Faction Points and House/Clan

I have some simple direct questions if anyone knows the answer please repply. What are factions points used for and how do I use them? How do any member of the house clan can transfer gold from the house to the member? thanks.

You cannot get any money back from the house bank.  Faction points currently are just for making a house.

What if players could earn some additional items at certain faction point level achievements. I don't know how the devs look upon quests; is it something they like or something they feel might drive players to go solo (which as I understand is not a desirable outcome) ?  It wouldn't have to be some glorious item; I'd be happy getting some bone shards or old boots for every 1,000 faction points.  Christ, you'd think bone shards were scales the way the don't drop.
