There are quite a few craftable weapons that I don't think I've seen anyone use in game or AH. Off the top of my head:
- Fire blade
- Apsod sword
- knight sword (not sure on this one)
- Crusader greatsword
- most of the bastard swords
I'm wondering if there's been any discussion on changing the cost or stats for these kind of items?

With the Fire & Sword,
He killed all the Nords,
And burned down his own TeamSpeak Channel.

Fire blade is used by some archers for a 1 handed weapon. Knight Sword is used by a couple of people who have multiple 1 handed hero class. The rest really are not used much and cannot whenever trade get even 1/2 the crafting cost.

I have a fire blade. It's a wonderful weapon for archer or for leveling new characters. As far as the crafted bastard swords go (I'm assuming you're speaking mainly of the Justice/Injustice), I'm not really sure why they are underused or undervalued. The stats are pretty good on them.. could just be that in that price range most people tend to go for a true 2h like the stone maul or elegant greatsword/forlorn hope since most bastard swords are pretty useless in 1h (think it's a 30% nerf to speed/damage.. can't remember the exact %).

Fire blade - It is the best usable weapon by everyone ? So cost or stats are good were they are.
Apsod sword - Not the best but looks cool. Hybrid can use it so good in that area (Sergeant can use)
Knight sword - Very good weapon if you have more than one 1 handler hero and a low budget it would be grate a low cost a mini Illustrious you could say

I thought fire blade was tier 4 only, my mistake. with the bastard swords I was initially thinking of those Blacksmith ones, the ones that have 'steel' in the name.
I think some clarification on bastards would be useful since I've heard contradicting things about the 1 hand penalty.

35 pct decrease to speed and damage
Thanks a lot for clarification, Tjav. Indeed, I've seen some confusion about it.

Short answer...they are too expensive for their crappy stats. The normal blacksmith and alch items died out with the introduction of housecrafting and excessive legendary items per class. Its cheaper and easier to skip the tier of items mentioned and opt for house craftables and legendaries which are far more present in the current NI economy
