"Local Mute" for Orange Chat

Title says it all, I guess.
The option is there and works for the normal chat, but since people only use the orange chat to send messages to all players, it's kind of useless as of now.
You could argue that you could miss people calling for a tome or something, but to be honest, most players now when to take what action and if someone managed to annoy you so much that you had to mute him, they're probably not going to send anything productive anyways.

Didn't see any reason why it wouldn't be added, to be honest.
Also, last reply in that thread was in march last year, things might have change and I also prefer not to necro-bump threads.

No. This is a team game. Muting someone you don't like is pointless and childish. If someone is spamming or breaking the rules, get a hold of an admin. Other than that, it should be easy enough to ignore the pretty orange letters in the bottom left if you don't like them if you honestly just feel antisocial at that point in time.
