During the ~CM~/TH event yesterday we reviewed the new defender armor and all agreed that it looks way worse than the old one.
The resolution of the texture looks kinda weird and noone was even able to tell what the black thing on the chest was supposed to be.

I would love to hear some opinions about this.

Also consider this a request to bring back the old defender.

This new Defender looks pretty fine to me. The old one was just bulky in comparison to others.

The resolution of the texture hasn't changed. It's the exact same as the way it was before; 1024 x 1024. When Ryu made the armor, he made the texture sheet way too small to fit the whole armor set on it with every single piece in high detail; scaling the resolution up wouldn't fix the problem, so all I really did was bring out the chest emblem more and add a correct specular / bump map.

However, I'm a people's man. If everybody wants me to change the Defender back to what it was before, I will. No biggie.

Edit: actually, I found the problem with the bumpmap I made and toned it down by a lot. Here is what it looks like now: https://p3d.in/8Si4O

I appreciate your feedback (and also the work you have done for this mod so far ofc) but i think its pretty safe to say that the majority of people prefreres the old defender armor.
We should probably wait for a few more opinions tho.
