Need Advise

I am a sharpshooter atm. I am planning to be a PC (Only need the gold).
Now, should I use arbalest or repeater crossbow, and why? Thanks

if cash is a problem, then arbalest is a lot cheaper then repeater, but repeater is fun to use,
but also another alternative is the sharp thorn, same price as repeater, and slightly better then arbalest
