To remove night-time, simply do what ughgh says below.

You guys serious? Man up... how realistic is it that an invading army only attacks during the day? I hope you guys aren't the kind of people that turn up their monitor brightness playing a survival horror...

Survival horror is one thing, playing in the dark night having a hard time seeing an enemy while the guy next to you can see him clear as day = Madness.
I wish we had Dark Nord Knights coming at us all dressed in black. Getting these guys day time would be normal, but at night, that'd be scary.

Night time doesn't really bother me, but Carolus makes a good point. There's not that much fun in having night or day in NI when it is different for each person. Not very realistic either

Why does it matter? Drop chance is same for everyone. Sure it would be nice to have every client having the same weather conditions and light conditions.
All I am saying is it is a weak approach to get rid of night-time just because you are a little afraid of the dark.
