When you need 900 hardened metal for 1 upgrade and you get about 5 per full hard run do the math. Not to mention actually getting the legendary and not to mention the gold and other materials required.
Oh 1.8 with 6 full Rag servers at prime EU not to mention a few hard and normals... Where have you gone? Hell even NA prime had a couple full Rag and hards up.
Now you'll be lucky to see 3 people on in NA prime. Most likely 0 though lately.

It's really tough for newer players right now as well. Lack of runs and lack of mat drops have discouraged those who are just starting out.

RookCW, Drops are happening....just the newer players aren't getting any haha.
Personally I would like to see a house come up with a DKP sort of system similar to WOW, where loot drops are given to the house who then auction them off to the players who show up regularly for in house points - rewarding those who attend and gearing up the house as a whole, rather than rewarding an individual player who already has 90 million or more gold.
