So I was bored and realized NI is lacking some backstory and lore, so I decided to add my character's lore into NI. You can add yours in this topic by using a few key ideas; Where your character was from, how did he/she end up in the army and what your character's ultimate goal is.
I was born a half Khergit in the steppes, my father was from the lands where strange swords are common and strange armors cheap. My family was a minor noble that owed money to the corrupt Sanjar Khan, who was in deeply in dept and forced his people to work hark to pay his sums, while he goes on a war against the Rhodoks, earning little in return.
Despite these hard times, I lived happily with my family, untill one day. Sanjar Khan came back from a lost battle, angry and frustrated, demanded my father to return twice the amount of gold owed to Sanjar Khan. My Father refused, just so me and my mother could still eat for a few more months, this angered Sanjar Khan as he ordered his men to pillage my home, killing my entire family, and left the young, 4 years old me for dead.
However, a travelling Swadian couple discovered my home on their journey, and found me lying wounded, they took me with them and unoffcially adopted me. During these years they have taken good care of me in Rduna, as they taught me how to fight with a sword and shoot with a bow. But 3 years ago, after the fall of the Swadian Empire, Rduna was targeted by the invading Nord forces, with little or no resistance, the Nords slaughtered and looted the entire village, while I escaped with a sword and shield, and joined a local militia in Dhirim.
From that day on, I sworn vengeance on Nords and Sanjar Khan, as I will not relent untill I see everyone of them dead.
