You do realise how much plate over leather is worth? I would stay awayy from player crafted items and only look for house crafted and above, if in doubt check with someone in the community just to make sure you aren't doing a terrible trade

Thanks for your message, the player in question is a new player and looking for gold or a larger number of items rather than one or two more valuable items. Although, considering what you and a couple of people have said, I will edit the post to remove player crafted items.
