Which throwing weapons are better axes or spears?

Can you make a legendary throwing axe?

There are legendary Spears...But... :

Typically, people tend to categorize legendaries as uncraftable equipment, with even high level house crafted stuff not being  legendary.

I have seen banks testing out craftable throwing spears recently. Think the mesh might need some work done on it though.

Thrust damage: 46
Max ammo: 20
Shoot speed: 30
