Forrest Gump
The Green Mile
Shawshank Redemption
Napoleon Dynamite

If you haven't seen all of these movies at least once I don't know what to tell you...

Also not a movie but I have been watching The Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey and it's fascinating even if you're not into science shows.

If any of you have the time (as its a long film) and are interested in the crusades i suggest kingdom of heaven for a film not the most outstanding cast in the world but a brilliant watch.

list of movies I recommended to every one! Panic in year zero (1962) Post nuclear apocalypse survival in Americas (film is in black and white and it is brilliant) . Dawn of the dead (1978) essentially zombie apocalypse in Americas.. Nightmare city (1980) Infected/zombie apocalypse in italy/spain/mexico? filmed in all 3 locations. Run from the Devil (1975) cult chases a group of friends who went camping. I have more I can recommended but that's off the top of my head that might be obscure and unique to people who might be interested in my sort of genres.
