Witcher series by Andrzej Sapkowski if I remember well 9 books all together , unfortunately not all available in English
Books inspired game called Witcher , very good rpg btw.

On topic: I'm not a very big reader but books i've really enjoyed were the Eragon series and the Rangers Apprentive series.

ASOIAF is by far the best epic fantasy series out there. Darkly Dreaming Dexter is also one of my favorites.

Probly LoTR, maybe Roger Zelazny's Amber series. I have read many many books, so it's hard to say.
