That's OK for me and my entire house, at least "Redshirts" will enjoy events ![Smile Smile](https://forum.nordinvasion.com/images/smilies/smile.png)
Even normal requires support items like tome, field meds/msk, shc. Make sure you have some balance in your support items.

It's just not sustainable, as players progress they won't be interested in setting aside 3hours of their day to play normals at a specific time.

EDIT: it refers to post #29 & 30
I agree with both of you, just mix it together: when a new player makes a mistake, it's a best practice to tell him what he dd wrong (so he learns and knows what not to do next time) but just do it in a polite manner.
The screenshot Soviet posted: the guy apparently got mad (with a good reason or without it, can't say) but what is important he also said: "why cant you just help me play and learn instead of raging at me". This is essential: (us vets) let's educate, not rage. Result: gg

I have to agree, that considering a community as small as Nordinvasion - a mod in an already unpopular game, are very dependent on gaining new players, and even tho i see how this is pure satire, i think this thread is a perfect place to discuss exactly what we all are scared of, the death of NI, we should make it a goal to attract new players, instead of yelling at them for making mistakes... Maybe a reward for inviting new players, or something that can help spread the word of NI... Whelp, maybe we should just wait for bannerlords...

Something like a year ago I've had an idea of events for newbies and we made one with the help of Winter and Xen. The point was the team would consist of 3-5 heroe players with proper support items and the rest would be new players. That would ensure the run can be successful while allowing newbies to learn and gain expeciernce.
Unfortunately I had no time later to go on with this but perhaps something like that could be done from time to time.

I remember that idea. I also remember that the event went pretty well.
Maybe a nice feature to repeat this event.

There used to be a referral system that rewarded you with a whole 1000 gold per player using your referral code... lol
It wouldn't be too hard to bring back a referral system with a slightly cooler reward, I think. Tiered rewards, perhaps?
