There should be crushthrough and long range troops (160+ reach and side swings, with real damage, not like bamboo spears). There's none currently afaik. Maybe add some light armored troops with mauls after 1st boss, then heavier armored great maulers after 2nd or 3rd boss. We could also add heavy armored guys with glaives, voulges, swordstaves (as roran suggested) or even poleaxes later on. More diversity is always good.

Yup, good idea. Give bad armor to voulgiers and make them spawn after the 6th wave. They'd have low survivability but lots of damage and range with their voulge.
Swordstaffmen would spawn after the 10th wave (the one with nord cavalry) and have med armor (studded leather level), and finally dismountered knights would have a poleaxe, cuir bouilli or banded armor, and spawn after the 14th wave (huscarls).

Voulgiers will have cloth to light leather

Swordstaffs will have mail, and dismounted knights in heavy armour, maybe as a boss wave before/after Nord Knights.

Nord Builders: MAULS!  ;D

Nord spearmaster: mail armour, a warspear/awlpike/long awlpike without shield

Boss wave: Swadian traitors: they all have mail, and have a random chance to be men-at-arms or infantry. The boss is the Swadian knight or the Lord betraying Swadia.

Nord Tiger/Panzerkampfwagen VI Henschel: heavy mail, very high stats, crossbows that oneshot and can fire through shield occasionally. Only a dagger as melee weapon though.

Nord Köningstiger/Tiger II/Panzerkampfwagen VII Henschel: Full plate, nearly impossible stats, crossbows that oneshot and can fire through shield occasionally. Only a dagger as melee weapon though.

Last 2 are trolls though

Nord Axethrower

Light Throwing axes and a short sword.
Padded leather, jerkin, leather armor...along them lines.
Difficulty would vary depending on loadout and class. But since they would be short to medium range throwing-oriented enemies, they'd have a decent melee skill. Good blocks, feints maybe.

Similar to the Nord Skirmisher but appears in the random mobs of nords between bosses.
Less melee oriented.
All I've seen so far are archers and the mobs of melee
Nords throw axes, and who doesn't love flying axes.

Nord Brawlers.

Fists. 500 powerstrike.
Naked or a shirt.
Chambers Galore.
Very vulnerable to range obviously, but I just want to see a guy in mail get punched to death.

The first one was serious, the second is just for the lols and rage.

Misc: Spawns with Nord Slavers with a little back story. The slavers offered the defectors the chance to be taken to the Sargoth (Thier Capitol) and with the Sarranid army quickly be diminished they couldn't resist the offer.


Also can I make like a Nerdy back storie to each of the waves and maps?

Low-lwl huscarl like soldiers for a boss wave.
Low-lvl mail and good leather armour, huscarl shields, etc...

Though guys with a low-normal level.

maybe king ragnar as end boss and end wave something like wave 50 ?

I haven't read the thread so I'm not sure if any of these ideas have been presented already so forgive me if I write something similar to what has been written already.

Ideas:

Nord Brawlers:

"Fresh from the Tavern and ready for a good punch up. The Brawler is ready to get hands on and personal. Put 'em up!"

• No weapon - Increased fist damage perhaps. Maybe even a glass bottle if possible.
