The next major milestone we are hoping to reach is the next step towards having a campaign in place. This is the player houses, which is a way to allow players to group up and achieve combined goals.
To start with, we are just focusing on the basic structure of the Houses, and any wants / limitations that you guys would want to see. So far we have the following in mind:

So you're probably wondering on what the point of creating a house is right? Well with Swadia in ruins and the need for rebuilding, Houses will be granted land and/or able to purchase land from the king. Land is the prerequisite to owning houses/buildings/villages etc. and most importantly of all: Castles!
These will all provide strategic roles in the over arching campaign, as in, the land you own/buy will be viewable on a map, and may well be the target for a Nord attack where you could possibly lose everything unless you fight to defend it!

- Creating a house is expensive, and will require at least 2000fp (there are some quests in the works which should allow faster gathering of FP)
- A House must have a minimum of at least 2 members, a Leader and a Captain. The leader is responsible for the over all policies/administration/politics for their house, where as the Captain is responsible for the house army / military actions. Please note: these features will not be included in the initial release of the House system
- Players can recruit other players at a fixed cost, of around 500gp per invite (to stop spamming etc.)
- Players can be assigned to an internal heirarchy, aka recruit/soldier/clerk etc.
- Each House will have a bank, where players can donate, this will be where the house taxes among other purchases made by the house are drawn from.
- Each house will have to pay 100gp in tax per day (this is not a pointless way to remove money from the economy, it will feed back into the grand campaign in what should be an interesting gameplay mechanic, which we arent revealing at the moment
- If you go within -1000gp of debt, the house will automatically disolve and anything it owned will be permanently removed!
Here are some possible features which I've thought about maybe adding:
- Playing on a server with your guild friends could give you a buff? either WPF? XP? etc.
- House quests have been mentioned before, and would be interesting
- Selectable Banner for use in game by all your House
