house age requirements

When I was handling things in VLKA we had an age requirement but it was flexible. The age requirement was a sign that we were looking for mature players with good heads on their shoulders.

luckaly even though i am against age unflexable age requirements frankly for any sort of online thing unless its 12+ (purely due to wanting people to be out of elementary before they do this sort of thing) i have grown used to it. i again thank all replyers for counter arguments and discussions

I don't know though how you can say of yourself of being 20+ years of maturity. Maturity isn't calculated in years. You're mature based on your age or you aren't. They aren't any ladder of maturity using years The only ladder of age you can use with intelligence is actually retardity where you are older in physical age and younger in intellectual age. A 20 y-o can have the intellect capacity of a 5 y-o due to a handicap, but you can't say you're the way around (14 of physical age, 20+ of maturity).

Sometimes age doesn't matter, it's just maturity. Because I'm not 16 but I'm currently in UK for being a mature kid. I'm 14 and it worked out, sometimes it just depends on you mostly.

while this may be true for the majority there are things that can happen in a persons life that can make them be mature above their own age, such as parental divorce, owning a buisness, managing websites, and dealing with finances, would you not say a person who acts and thinks like a 20 year old is not as mature as one?

as for intelligence, though i couldnt spell for the life of me, my base iq is 163+. this dosent really show intelligence outside of booksmarts but it does speak for intellectual advancement.

and frankly i support a 12+ limit to age as i said i want people out of elementary. However i will never require more than that because i would like to give people an equal oppertunaty.

unless it is the case of admin i do accualy like an 18+ requirement on that because its not really supposed to be a youth thing... that i understand

As someone who had to grow up faster than my age allowed I can sympathise. But generally if you say you are more mature than your age you have not learned yet that only rappers and historians can get away with proclaiming their own traits. The rest of us just quietly build a reputation.

oh no i know i cant get anywhere with proclaiming but the only way i found how to get people to not dismiss me within 3 seconds when they hear im 14 is to proclaim then prove, sadly thats the point its at lol
