Glad to see you've made some progress!
Beginning in blender has always been a nightmare. It took me half a year to work up the courage to take a second look into it
(after failing miserably to even move the cube).

I just tried something, it might look like shit, but it's just an idea.

Mmm that weapon looks painfull Sinister...
I'd love to see a weapon like that where you can switch between cut and blunt modes by pressing "x" (I'm pretty sure that is possible)

It is, and it's a pretty good idea, actually :O
Hm, let me think of something...

If you mean rotate the model 180, sadly that isn't possible.
But it is possible to switch damage types with x, if the model doesn't require any visual change.
Though I can't think of a weapon where that would be true.

Nice looking hammer. I was trying more realistic looking (and easier haha) because I understand that's hyper's thing. Still working on mine. Senni, I was wondering if maybe you could point me towards a good texturing tutorial on youtube because I'm kind of lost as far as that goes.
As far as weapons with 2 damage modes:
How about a sort of halberd (
http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20...oleaxe.gif) with the bottom part of the blade being flat and blunt and having it taper into a sharp edge towards the top. That's the only possible one I can think of without any turning of the item.

Maybe it's time you start a modelling thread and work from there?

I was more thinking of something like this:
Wouldn't that be possible?

Don't see how you could switch modes on that without turning it.
