The Boarding is only one other option when it comes to 2 handers. Axes will always have more cut damage than their greatsword equivalent, and even more than higher grade greatswords, but it does not have the option to use a superlong stab of 40p, which, for comparison, is about as strong as an arrow from a Sniper.
