Your time would be better spent creating models and textures of your own rather than recoloring things.  If you want a really efficient way to do recolorings like this, you could select/outline each colored section of the texture and copy it onto a new layer, create a Hue/Saturation mask for each layer, and edit it in seconds there as many times as you want.
