RG is the most boring class maybe even pointless.

I switched my RG to Zwei long ago (5-7 years ago I think) because it was simply too boring to just stand there, hold right mouse button and then wait. In the worst case scenario you even get marked as AFK for doing your job because you stand still and shouldn't do any damage unless you risk dying.

I do recall the times we actually had to use 2 (sometimes even 3) shields in the boss waves, but due to all legendary stuff and shield buffs you can usually do everything on 1 shield which I think has killed the stress of a shielder going down.

At the same time during the public runs I dislike having a RG, because often they start slashing mid wave which sometimes get them killed which can really cause issues to the team. The cades are much more reliable in that case, but lack the durabilty compared to a RG + cade setup.

I think the RG could use a little bit more love, but I don't see how it could be improved without either changing the AFK mechanic for shielders (which can be abused easily) and changing the durability or amount of cades so you depend more on shielders.
