I wouldn't say that. it's not as rewarding as zwei and legio, but the skill cap is only lower if you play RG the ''intended'' way of just shielding. if you're actually attacking stuff, it's the same I guess

Genuine question when was the last time you saw a Shield of Kings break on an active Rg with a good team?
well tbf, the only way to determine the power or strength of a shield is by how long it lasts. so as a consequence, the only advantage of a SoK over a phoenix shield is that it lasts longer. I agree that RG should have to repair shields or even lose one against w11 hard for example. a few days ago, we had a full hard server and our RG shielded all of w12 with a lute, and it didn't even break. I also noticed someone saying that they don't repair their shield(s) at all, instead they just wait for the next respawn wave because the shield will last no matter what. so, while giving RG another 2 shield skill technically made it stronger, it's not a good way to buff it, because that made it even easier/comfortable to leech, because there's no reason not to be tabbed out for 5mins. quoting stockfisch: ''I like RG cuz I can leech''
Would be a shame to put a single Durendal as a loot history...
