well, it is kinda hard to stop ppl from getting drops really, i mean shielders doesnt get any scores at all on rag and hard, so you cant make it score based

No need of chest I think, just like 70% drop rate for green mats like sulphur, lumps, scales etc. depends of the gamemode. For example Odin could have damascus involved.

Would the chests be tradeable? Would be more interesting if you could trade them.

well, it would be kind of an gamble to see what would be inside the chests, but sure why not haha, you could also make it a crafting thing to be honest to open chests, but for every crafting thing and lvl 1

Well I can't say that as I do loot some stuff Tongue But I'm just not sure if the chest idea would work with devs, setting new drops with higher rate to bosses would make it easier, tho the idea isn't bad.

well that is why i made this post, it is only an idea, if the devs like it they can always take some of the main ingredients in the idea and make something funny or interesting with it, i mean an idea would be wasted if kept in the head

I like the idea, but I veto keys. Ideally, there would be a 75-90% chance of the chest dropping for everyone (so everyone individually has a chance of getting it), and when you do, it just shows you have found 1 x Chest, which you can open from the website, to get a random green material. Considering the amount of runs completable in a day (4-6 prince runs, 3 hard, or 2 rag), I'd say it shouldn't be a guaranteed drop, but a high chance of getting it, to prevent people from spamming Prince all day, for example.

hence keys to a chest to make playing on rag and hard more rewarding, keys would be a rare drop just like the green mats in the game (so it will take you a year to get one with current drop rates ;p) and you have to build the key with like 3 shards to open the chest which gives you something completely random.
