One of the servers went onto duel mode bymistake, the gear loaded fine .

Yes i also was there. I believe it was on the Phalangite Server. It was a open random map in duel mode. Gear loaded fine and you could Duel other people with their permission. So it must be possible.
Well we will test it today and report our impressions here.

We had only short test due to Hande's server problem, but it is 100% confirmed that duel game mode woks just fine.

Yuri works hard on the tournament map, please be patient.

This sounds interesting, but not if manual block isn't enforced.

Yuri is working on a skirmisher and xbow arena. So it will take some time. Because of the new changes. Auto block will be disabled.
