Bringing my half-drunk ramblings form IRC last night here :
Nord Battle Maiden Wielding Mallets, Hammers or Sledgehammers (Anything with crushtrough) Light mail of some sort, perhaps leather. Pretty hard difficulty because of crushtrough, must be handled with care. Maybe rare spawns of just a few of them sprinkled in.

Nerf Assasins and Zweihanders , now you slave.

Zweihenders are annyoing cause they spawn in between waves of peasants. It's wierd and annoying that you are slaying peasants and serfs and whatnot, and all of a sudden, you have 20 plated twohanders charging at you. Maybe introduce them in later waves? They just seem way out of place right now, at least to me.

I havent seen any kind of horse archer yet in the game so maybe something along the lines of:
Name: Mercenary Khergit Raiders Weapons: Khergit Bow + Khergit Arrows, Sabre Armour: Tribal Warror Armour with Nomad Cap Difficulty: Medium

troop name: nord slavers
weapon types: blunt armor types:plate difficulty (easy, hard etc.) hard. misc: Nords like to make money too. These nords are heavily armored and use blunt weapons to capture soldiers. N: Vanguard (or Scout Cavalry)
W: Short Sword, Buckler A: Light Armor (Burlap Tunic, Leather Boots), mounted D: Easy For early enemy waves. Quote:...consisted of a contingent of foreriders, from whom a forward detachment of scouts was drawn, the main body of the vanguard, in which there traveled civil officials and trumpeters to carry messages and summon the surrender of towns and castles...

swordstaff infantry
Historical (believe so) Nordic unit from later medieval era (1000-1492) The swordstaff evolved from the boar spear, which could, when mastered, be used as a cutting weapon.

I was thinking about slave troops from Khergit, Sarranid, Rhodok, and Vaegir kingdoms, and have them lightly armored, with Nord enforcers.
