Hmm the Elegant Crossbow now hurts 170p? Its just about good as Big Shot now. Also between how much the blue crafted crossbows hurt, the house crafted Heavy Repeater Crossbow now hurts 110vs135 of the Repeater Crossbow. Is there anyway Sharpthorn could be buffed? At this point it seems like Pavise or Aventurier that cant afford Legendary xbows are really behind now. I dont think a 500k blue repeater should hurt more then a 3mil or so house crafted xbow thats not a repeater.

Ah I didnt see they upgraded Big Shot as well. Yeah it needs something done cause as it sits now, It is better then Penetrator I think as well. Hurts 25 more, has knockdown etc, 1 more shoot speed and only 2 less speed rating. I feel like all the Xbows that arent Repeater or Chosen Marksmen are really under powered at the moment.

In any case, the Sharpthorn is 12 speed rating or more faster than both of the Chosen Marksman crossbows mentioned, not just 2 speed.

The DPS of these crossbows have been tested against regular Nords and highly armored bosses.  The Penetrator is still better than the Elegant Crossbow against bosses and almost every minion bot (there are a few that take one headshot less, but generally that threshhold is not crossed).  The Sharpthorn and Elegant Crossbow have comparable numbers, with the Elegant Crossbow doing better against highly armored bots and bosses (Jotne, Chosen Valkyrie, Thor, etc.), and the Sharpthorn winning out on everything else (anything that dies to 1 headshot, Prince, Heimdallr, Tyr, etc.).

That just killed all excitement of it for me when i've read the last of it ;(

All it was needed for it was +1 or +2 ammo (dont care for dmg), and nothing else, speed nerf makes 0 sense to me. Non-upgraded was too slow, so upgrading it felt just correct with the stats before-patch. I've been super excited to upgrade it so it's finally faster, as non-upgraded slowness was annoying me as hell, now it doesn't feel special anymore (ammo and dmg means nothing to me if it's still almost as slow as before, maybe if added more accuracy that would sum it up for it, but i'd still prefer more speed over all of it).

So I don't have only a complaint on the table
