Main problem is finding a balance between time zones.

A daily non tradable consumable item on the website, that when used gives a 1 hour buff to xp or whatever. Can only be used once every 24 hrs.

Even if it only increases assist xp by 1.5 or 2x.. it would be pretty big increase for activity at primetime for all regions

If you wanted to add a happy hour, this would be the way to do it.

The problem is: Unlike Mercs, you've got a pop that extends worldwide. Most of NA and AU wouldn't be able to attend a set happy hour. I understand that some would want one for NA or EU but quite honestly that would impact events as Baron said.

I don't know the limitations of the NI code, but to me varying times would be the preferable solution. For example:

Code:

Monday:    EU Servers - 7pm CET
           NA Servers - 7pm EST

Tuesday:   EU Servers - 8pm CET
           NA Servers - 8pm EST

Wednesday: EU Servers - 9pm CET
           NA Servers - 9pm EST

...

Or something like that. This way most people should be able to find enough time once or twice a week and the fixed schedule lets them gather at the appointed times.

I understand that some would want one for NA or EU but quite honestly that would impact events as Baron said.

Personally I'd limit the "Happy Hour" perk to public servers and I'm confident that scheduling conflicts with Events could be avoided with a bit of planning.

I feel like people would gravitate torwards using it when there is a full server(event or primetime). It would encourage someone to get on to use the daily xp item/buff, either on a couple public runs or events.
