You didn't lose them. They're most-likely just assigned to a different class. Sell on the marketplace, see for yourself.

lol thanks from the website maybe 60 ammo arrows are back!
I lost (unable to use) my helmet but still have the gauntlet and mail with surcoat. Hurry!

EDIT: eliminate the "Welcome to the army!" quest in a minute and I got my first point of mounted XP!

Cav does not suck. I have created a new character as cav and last night with all these "nerfs" at level 5 I was killing huscarls from the back of a trained pony. As infantry I had to wait until I was a sergeant before I could comfortably take on 20 huscarls by myself. If this is how a trained pony can deal with the waves, I cannot wait for a proper horse.
