Completelly disagree, the balancing part you are suggesting is actually making 1 class meatbags in iron clothing to stand there and take the blows for you, while the other class that has been suggested here and there reminds me a lot of pikemen without throwing abilities. Sorry, but this idea is rubbish.

I also disagree.
One main problem: how do you level your character? You make more XP if you are actually killing bots, and if you're just a mobile wall, not going to be doing much killing, which means relying solely on assist XP to level, which is at least half as slow. Not the mention the loss of gold.

These shielders would have one handed WPF so they can fight as well this would be the 1 handed class, but I can clearly see everyone despises this idea though. :/
