So we do, but I personally like Italian swords, and the crossbow is kinda Italian (also in native, with the Rhodoks), so why not moar Italian swords? :3

The name stamford is from the battle of stamford bridge.

Pretty sure the italians weren't there.. ;P

I thought the whole point of the Stamford is that it's meant to be a viking sword, maybe you could make it stand out more by making it more ornate like this:
