I would say...
Master Peltast- Great for soloing and standing behind the cadeline and throwing
Marauder- Typical, equipped with long polearms, slasher
Halberdier- wtf

Halberdier..Why do people hate it so much? It is a slightly better slasher then Pike+Heavy Inf, but can take way more damage and can shield. I personally think its better then Marauder.

Basically because it looses its ability to kite. Also,if you're going to go halberdier so you can take more damage as a pikeman, you may as well just go commando.

But commando's dont have pikes. Pikes are amazing for slashing.

Exactly, which is why you would go marauder, so you do more damage with the pike

But Marauder cant take a stray arrow very well, or a lucky hit from a vet pike or someone, Halberdier can and he can also shield if required.

I just went master peltast, I had my doubts about it, but I could see an instant change. I ran a lot faster, was a lot more accurate, and I am sure they will integrate a master peltast only weapon sooner than later (sure as hell hope so, otherwise I spent 750k on stats). But hyper is my hero, so he will bring in some special stuff for master peltast.

I find MP hard work. i dunno if its just me or what, but im constantly in the lower part of the kill table, hardly hit, hardly kill... except some rounds where suddenly il get loads, then back to nothing again. plus ammo is always a problem with these guys.
