These classes will take all of the class points that you accumulate between levels 39 to 52. As a result, you will forgo being a hybrid in exchange for a very powerful specialisation. It's now difficult enough to gather all specialisations needed in a team. If you only give for ex. powerstrike or shield bonus to commandos, they will have nothing more to do in a team ! It will just be necessary to get these "powerful specialisations" to balance the fact that hard mode bots (or Ragnarok bots) are tougher.
It can be quite interesting for a commando for example to choose heavy crossbowman or skirmisher, in order to be able to use crossbows/polearms correctly. This enables him to be useful if there are too many commandos in the team. Same for crossbowman specialisations, etc.... This also let us customize our characters, not only by giving them more powerstrike !
Being able to carry a spare weapon is a quite interesting thing. I would rather suggest that you implement hybrid classes so that they are a bit better. It could be a good idea to give these "commando hero bonus" to the characters who reach 800k melee xp, for instance. And also ranged hero bonus when you reach 800k ranged xp too !
(that would encourage lvl52 players to play)
But don't reduce commandos to big melee fighters, or Snipers to incompetent soldiers! (who will choose Sentinel ? who will choose to abandon his power at range for a 1h bonus ?...)
