Hey clickeverywhere!

Part One:
Solo to Wave 16 on Normal: This part of the exam is meant to test your fighting ability, map awareness, and endurance. Alternatively, you can try soloing to wave 8 of hard mode. You may retake this portion of the test three times. Crossbowmen need only solo to wave 12.

Part Two:
Carrying a Team: We will join a normal server with 5 or more players who are below tier 4 and you will do your best to keep the team alive until wave 17. This test is to determine your leadership abilities and game sense. You will be provided with a shielder and a short heavy barricade every spawn round.

Heh, I finally decided to do it after I saw your thread. Something of a "coming out of retirement" change. Will take a lot of time but hopefully it will bring quality players into the fold. For a few of our current members, some training will have to be done. They are not at the level that I want them to be at.

As for alliances, I don't know if an alliance between our houses would do much for us. I don't recall seeing you in-game (probably due to timezone differences). For now I will have to decline. Perhaps sometime in the future.

Is there a rule that a House cannot ally with other Houses? I don't recall any, but would be glad to be corrected.

Alliances are constructs made by the players. If you're thinking about "allied events", those can be registered as long as you have the consent of the house leaders of two separate houses. The devs haven't come out with any statement regarding house alliances. I think malong was just trying to make a joke.

No more than there is any rule that says a player cannot be in two houses.

i think i can solo to wave 16 of normal and 8 of hard. do we have to beat the wave, or just make it to it?

Just have to make it there. Soloing pikemen on commando is pretty difficult even if you have a barrel to kill the majority of them. Soloing Royal Assassins as any class can be a challenge. This is why applicants can do multiple attempts.
