Looks a bit like the Swadian Hope. Is that intentional?

Looks a bit like the Swadian Hope. Is that intentional?
I changed the texture a bit and added vine pattern to the guard and pommel
now it shouldnt look like a Swadian hope.

The Guard and the Pommel are both similar to a sponge. Looks funny but that doesn't really fit into a sword texture

zocki, you have come very far in the short amount of time you have been modeling. i am very impressed with your sword - the steel is very well done, and the handle looks great as well. for a first try at texturing you did a really good job
i do think that the gold parts are a bit too gold and that desaturating might help them look a bit more realistic. I know that actual gold is that color, but hardly were the guard and pommel made of solid gold (unless used for ceremonial uses). The vines are a nice touch, but they are a bit too pixelated to really work on the pommel and guard. I would either blur them and make them not solid black or just remove them altogether - i like them as a stylistic choice though.
your model is also not smoothed. it's not a huge deal, but if the sword were to be in-game than it would have to be smoothed.
again, very good job
